Aston Barclay has been shortlisted in the Best New Product or Service category at this year’s AM Awards, for groundbreaking innovation Proovstation.
The AM Awards are known for their commitment to rewarding excellence and achievement across every aspect of the motor retailing industry from individual contributions to those teams and businesses that go above and beyond.
Entries are shortlisted through a judging panel of industry experts and independent chairman Christopher Macgowan OBE, former SMMT chief executive.
ProovStation, a pioneering technology for the remarketing sector, enhances inspection accuracy and reduces the time required for inspections, using AI to map and process data related to damages on each vehicle. The innovative technology significantly improves inspection accuracy, as well as reducing the time it takes to complete an inspection, all of which aids Aston Barclay’s ability to reduce the number of days to sell.
The implementation enhances operating standards across the whole organisation, as well as providing a more improved data set – the more cars that are inputted, the more refined the data output becomes, providing a more efficient service.
