Surrey-based dealer group Wilsons has appointed Aston Barclay as its solus remarketing provider.
The family-run new and used car and van dealer group operates 11 franchises in Surrey and will sell 1,500 vehicles per annum at Aston Barclay’s weekly Wednesday Chelmsford dealer sale which runs in two halls.
Wilsons will send dealer part exchanges to Aston Barclay from its Stellantis, Nissan, MG, Renault, and Hyundai franchises. It will also dispose of used LCVs from its multi-brand Loads of Vans site located in North Cheam.
Jack Dee Shapland, Wilsons Used Car Manager said: “We look forward to working with Aston Barclay. The two businesses share similar brand values, and we like the fact that they operate a physical and online route to market which should help us maximise prices and conversion rates.
Aston Barclay’s Director of Sales Nick Thompson said: “We would like to welcome Wilsons to Chelmsford. With 11 franchises and an LCV supermarket Wilsons will offer buyers a good mix of used stock over the coming months.”
