Cargiant has renewed its remarketing contract with Aston Barclay which sees its partnership extend beyond 20 years.
The contract has been solus since 2015 in which time Aston Barclay has disposed of over £100 million of used stock through twice weekly sales on Mondays and Wednesdays at its Chelmsford site.
Cargiant is known as London’s largest used car dealership and sells more than 30,000 used cars each year with typically over 200 part exchanges being offered for sale by Aston Barclay each week.
Cargiant said: “Our partnership with Aston Barclay remains very strong with us continuing to use Chelmsford for the disposal of customer part exchanges or overage stock.
As the retail automotive world transitions towards electric it’s good to have a long-term partner on board to help support the Cargiant team.”
Aston Barclay Chief Customer Officer Justin Lane said: “We are pleased to continue to work with the Cargiant team to optimise values for each and every part exchange that goes through our Chelmsford auction.”
