John Banks Group has extended its six-year remarketing relationship with Aston Barclay by another two years through to 2023.
The East Anglian dealer group that represents Renault cars and commercials, Honda, Suzuki and Dacia in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge directs all unwanted part exchanges to Aston Barclay Chelmsford.
Despite a turbulent 18 months of motor retailing John Banks has experienced excellent price and conversion rates through Aston Barclay’s programme of physical and online auctions.
“We’re really pleased to work with Aston Barclay for a further two years and continue to grow the relationship.
“The cross-section of cars and vans we remarket through Aston Barclay continues to perform well and the move to online digital sales was seamless in April 2020 so didn’t disrupt our remarketing activity,” said John Banks Group director, Mark Evans.
The John Banks Group typically has around 500 used cars, vans and motorcycles available for sale at any one time across its network.
“John Banks has generated a cross-section of used cars during lockdown in the sweet spot of £10,000. The group’s name is well respected across East Anglia which has further created interest from online buyers during lockdown,” commented Martin Potter, Aston Barclay’s MD – Customer.
