As part of our 'Lead the Charge' agenda, we have recently reviewed the current EV charging infrastructure across our estate. We identified several improvements needed to ensure that, operationally, we are in the best position to process the increasing number of EV vehicles coming through the lanes. We assessed the market to identify a partner to help deliver the increased infrastructure capabilities. I am pleased to announce that we have selected Radius Charge as our preferred supplier to implement these improvements.
Radius Charge is a market-leading EV infrastructure specialist who will provide us with state-of-the-art charging points across our sites, as well as a centralized back-office application to monitor the performance of each charger. The appointment of Radius Charge also strengthens our existing relationship with the wider Radius Group, with whom we currently enjoy a blossoming relationship in their Fleet Mobility division.
Civils works begin in Wakefield in the first week of February with the improved infrastructure going live in early March. We will then look to deliver further improvements across the estate in the coming months.
This marks a significant investment by Aston Barclay that will make our vendor and buyer experience 'EV-peasy'!
